Position: Senior Backend Engineer

Position Summary:

This role is ideal for a hands-on backend engineer with 5-10 years of experience, especially in a high-paced startup environment. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, ensuring our AI products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to integrate AI capabilities.
• Engage in all technical aspects without reliance on DevOps support.

• Make fast, data-driven decisions and demonstrate ownership.
• Commit to team goals and ensure high availability for collaboration.
• Contribute to system architecture design and implementation.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Key Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; 
• 5-10 years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend languages (Python and alike).
• Proven track record in a high-paced startup environment.
• Experience with unmanaged backend microservices environments including Docker, Kubernetes, and message queues.
• Experience with databases, APIs, and web services.
• Self-sufficiency in technical challenges without reliance on DevOps support.
• Proficiency in at least one cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with production-ready products serving 1000+ customers.
• Strong background in enterprise-level production-ready products.
• Proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency in technology solutions.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in B2C Product-Led Growth (PLG) products.
• Expertise in NLP, AI, LLMS.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
