Position Summary:

These AI Researchers will be the key individual contributors within the reasoning team at the fundamental research arm of Wand AI, which we call Wand X. The goal is to add "wisdom" to AI systems (LLMs and beyond) similar to how it happens in the human brain. Our research will enable the next generation of AI systems to think, plan, and reason, far beyond experimentation with prompts or endless fine-tuning of large models. This role involves conducting groundbreaking AI research, developing innovative algorithms and models, and collaborating with various teams to ultimately integrate our inventions into our products.

Responsibilities:

●     Conduct fundamental AI research, focusing on reasoning and planning.

●     Develop and implement advanced AI models and algorithms.

●     Keep abreast of the latest AI technologies and trends.

●     Provide expert insights to solve complex AI challenges.

●     Work closely with the product and engineering teams to translate research findings into scalable products.

●     Foster an environment of fast, data-driven decision-making and calculated risk-taking to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

●     Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (M.Sc. may be considered only in very exceptional cases).

●     New graduates are also considered.

○     Multiple Internship experiences in top industrial research labs is expected.

●  Strong expertise and prior hands-on experience in natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and language models.

●     Strong track record of publishing in premier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.).

●     Passion for innovation and a strong desire to make a significant impact in the field of AI.
